• ‘Close your eyes. Reflect on these five behaviours: blame, placate, generalise, distract, level. (Pause) Maybe you were drawn more to one? (Pause) Maybe you resisted one? (Pause) Now let a picture, a scene, float up, perhaps about such behaviours. (Pause) Maybe from an earlier time? (Pause) When you’re ready, open your eyes. Portray this scene. Each student talks about their picture in the group’ (p. 37).
